A Teaching Church

OUR MISSION

We exist to glorify God by:

  • Advancing the Christian faith through vibrant worship, prayer, and sound biblical teaching.

  • Meeting social and emotional needs through food relief, family support, and community development.

  • Empowering individuals—especially youth, the elderly, and the disadvantaged—through training, care, and compassion.

OUR OBJECTIVES

  • To provide holistic community outreach programmes that address food insecurity, social isolation, and family needs within the local area.

  • To nurture spiritual growth and discipleship through regular worship services, Bible teaching, mentoring, and prayer gatherings that equip believers to live out their faith.

OUR CORE VALUES

COMPASSION

Demonstrating the love of Christ through practical care, kindness, and service to those in need.

Scriptural Foundation:

  • “When He saw the crowds, He had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.” — Matthew 9:36

  • “If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?” — 1 John 3:17

At RPRC, compassion is more than sentiment—it is action. It compels us to reach out with food, comfort, care, and community support. We see every person as deeply valued by God, and our ministries seek to reflect that same grace.

HOPE

Inspiring faith and confidence in God’s promises, even in uncertain or difficult times.

Scriptural Foundation:

  • “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” — Romans 15:13

  • “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope.” — Jeremiah 29:11

RPRC seeks to be a beacon of hope—spiritually, emotionally, and practically—helping individuals and families trust that God is present and active in their lives. We point people to Christ, our eternal hope.

TRUST

Cultivating relationships marked by integrity, faithfulness, and accountability—both with God and one another.

Scriptural Foundation:

  • “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5

  • “Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful.” — 1 Corinthians 4:2

We are committed to being trustworthy stewards of God’s Word, resources, and people. In leadership and in service, we promote a culture of reliability and transparency where God’s people can flourish in confidence.

INSPIRATION

Encouraging spiritual growth, creativity, and purpose by the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Scriptural Foundation:

  • “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” — 2 Timothy 3:16

  • “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.” — Hebrews 10:24

We believe God inspires His people through His Word, worship, and the work of the Holy Spirit. RPRC is a place where individuals are encouraged to dream, grow, and live purposefully for the glory of God and the good of others.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

A Rhema Pentecostal Revival Church (RPRC) we uphold the Holy Scriptures as the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God—our foundation for faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

We believe:

  1. In One God, eternally existing in three Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—coequal in power and glory. God is the Creator and Sustainer of all things (Genesis 1:1; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14).

  2. In the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, His virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death on the cross, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, and future return in power and glory. He is the only Saviour of humanity (John 3:16; Colossians 1:15-20; Acts 1:11).

  3. In the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, regenerates those who repent and believe, and empowers believers for holy living and effective service. The Holy Spirit gives gifts to the Church for the edification of the body and the advancement of the Gospel (Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11).

  4. That salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. It involves repentance, forgiveness of sin, regeneration by the Holy Spirit, and a new life of holiness (Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5).

  5. In the ordinances of the Church:

    • Water baptism by immersion, following personal faith in Jesus Christ, as an outward expression of inner transformation (Mark 16:16; Romans 6:4).

    • Holy Communion, as instituted by our Lord, in remembrance of His death and celebration of His resurrection (1 Corinthians 11:23-26).

  6. In the Great Commission, the mandate of Jesus Christ to preach the Gospel to all creation, baptising and making disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-16).

  7. In the Church, the body of Christ, made up of all true believers. We affirm the priesthood of all believers and the local church’s role in worship, teaching, fellowship, and mission (Acts 2:42-47; Ephesians 4:11-13).

  8. That every person, regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, or religion, is created in the image of God and worthy of love, dignity, and respect. We are called to serve our communities with compassion and justice, meeting both spiritual and practical needs (Micah 6:8; Luke 4:18-19).

  9. In the return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, and the final judgment. We believe in eternal life with God for the redeemed and eternal separation from God for the unrepentant (John 14:1-3; Revelation 20:11-15).

  10. That we are called to be a teaching, praising, and sharing church:

    • Teaching the Word of God with clarity and conviction through prayer and intercession (2 Timothy 4:2).

    • Praising God in spirit and truth, offering joyful worship to the One who is worthy (Psalm 100:4-5).

    • Sharing the Gospel with urgency and compassion, bringing others to Christ (John 1:41-42; Acts 1:8).
