Pastoral Care: Reducing Isolation and Improving Language, Mental Well-being, and Digital Skills

This project tackles mental-health struggles, language barriers, and low digital skills by providing befriending support, advocacy for those who need help with English, and practical training that boosts confidence and well-being. It is designed to reduce loneliness, confusion, and lack of direction among young people, strengthen employability for adults, and support older individuals who find today’s technology overwhelming, especially in this post-pandemic season.

Our key beneficiaries include BAEM communities, Spanish-speaking Latin American migrants, young people who are not in education or work, unemployed adults, and older community members. Volunteers and local residents will also gain from training and access to equipment.
